Graduate Innovation ThinkTank Co. Ltd. (“GIT”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of users (“you”) who use the LoadMaster platform (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect
For Clients:
  • Personal Information: Includes your name, phone number, email address, and pickup/drop-off locations to help coordinate services and confirm identity.
  • Payment Information: Includes payment method details and transaction history to enable secure and seamless financial transactions.
  • Usage Data: Interaction history, settings, and preferences that help us improve functionality and user experience.
For Drivers:
  • Personal Identification: Name, contact details, ID, and driver’s license information for verification and compliance.
  • Vehicle Data: Details such as registration number, type, and insurance coverage to ensure service quality and legality.
  • Operational Data: Real-time and historical location tracking (including background tracking while the app is minimized) to facilitate cargo delivery, also customer ratings, and performance feedback to maintain standards and accountability.
2. How We Use Your Information
For Clients:
  • To verify and manage your account.
  • To match you with available, qualified drivers.
  • To calculate and process trip payments accurately.
  • To support, customize, and enhance your app experience.
For Drivers:
  • To verify your identity and vehicle eligibility.
  • To assign trips based on proximity, availability, and performance.
  • To manage payouts, track performance, and resolve disputes.
  • To ensure compliance with traffic laws and platform standards.
  • To support, customize, and enhance your app experience.
3. Location Data and Background Location Access

LoadMaster is a logistics platform that requires precise location – including background location for drivers — to function.

  • Background Collection: For Drivers, LoadMaster collects precise location data to enable nearby trip offer matching, and real-time tracking for customers, even when the app is closed or not in use.  This data is used to:
    • Notify drivers of available trip offers to transport cargo near their current position so they never miss work.
    • Allow customers to track the progress of their cargo during an active trip.
    • User Control: Drivers can stop location collection at any time by going “Offline” or by adjusting device permission settings to “While using the app.” However, doing so will prevent them from receiving new trips offers.
  • Data Sharing: Driver live location is only shared with the specific customers associated with an active trip a driver has accepted. We do not sell or share your location data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
4. Information Sharing
  • Between Users: We share limited details (e.g., name, phone number, vehicle info) between Clients and Drivers to facilitate trip coordination.
  • With Third Parties: Payment processors, cloud storage, and analytics providers may access relevant data solely to perform services on our behalf. These parties are required to safeguard the data.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose user data when legally required to comply with investigations, law enforcement, or regulatory bodies.
4. Data Protection and Security
  • We employ modern data protection practices including encryption, firewalls, regular audits, and secured servers.
  • Access to personal data is limited to authorized staff and system processes only.
  • Users are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials and should report any suspected breaches promptly.
5. Your Rights
  • Access & Correction: You may view and update your personal data at any time within the app settings.
  • Deletion Requests: You may request account and data deletion, subject to retention obligations related to safety, law, or operations.
  • Communications Preferences: You may opt out of marketing messages via settings or contact request, but we may still send critical operational updates.
6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide our services and fulfill transactions.
  • Comply with legal and tax obligations.
  • Resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and ensure safety and accountability on the platform.
7. Third-Party Links

LoadMaster may link to third-party websites or tools. These platforms have their own privacy policies and practices. GIT is not responsible for how these third parties collect or handle your data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect legal, operational, or platform changes. Users will be notified of major updates, and continued use of the app implies acceptance of the revised terms.

10. User Consent

By registering or using the LoadMaster app, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information as described herein. If you do not agree with the terms, you should not use the App.
